Automated Aliquoting with the Genie GLS1
Overview
Aliquoting is the process of distributing one source liquid (sample or reagent) to many destination wells. Automating sample or reagent aliquoting can save labs time, effort, and accuracy, and increase a lab’s throughput efficiency. The Genie aliquoting protocol transfers a reagent from a single well reservoir to a maximum of 96 wells on a deep well plate. Users input the number of wells to aliquot to and the aliquot volume.
Workflow
1
Open the Aliquoting protocol and run the protocol in simulation.
2
Create your protocol's instrument settings.
3
Input the number of wells to aliquot to and the aliquot volume.
4
Set up your instrument's deck, and run your protocol.
